An extraordinary book of the museum's Mayan and Aztec pre-Colombian art collections published to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the institution. The work contains 450 photographs and illustrations. It explores the first time anthropological texts were interpreted by Mexican historians for their archaeological and ethnographic meanings.
